How it works
- Click the target in the middle to start.
- Hit each new target as fast as you can. Clicking next to a target counts as a miss.
- After 30 targets you see your average time per target, your accuracy and your best result.
A quick warm-up for games
Players of first-person shooters warm up with aim drills before a match. This short test trains quick flicks from one point to another and gives you a score to beat every day.
Speed and accuracy
Your score is the average time between hits, in milliseconds. Accuracy shows how many of your clicks hit a target. Rushing makes you miss, and misses don’t stop the clock, so a steady rhythm usually gives the best time.
Mouse settings that help
Turn off mouse acceleration in your system settings, so the pointer always moves the same distance for the same hand movement. A larger mouse pad and a sensitivity you don’t keep changing make your aim feel predictable.
Questions and answers
What is a good score?
With a mouse, many people average around half a second per target, and regular players get well below that. Touch screens give different times, so compare like with like.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes, tap the targets. It is a different skill from aiming with a mouse, so compare phone scores with phone scores.
